what happened to lineage 2 ?

I think there have more players on eu area for lineage 2 ?and accounts (us) get banned easyly if we Violation of the provisions? as quite a part of my friends change from u.s area to eu .how do you think of the problem ?what happened to lineage 2 ?(I know it will be free at the end of the month )
